Enzymatic botanicals Papaya (papain), Pineapple (bromelain), Willow bark and Strawberry (salicylic acid) work to gently exfoliate surface skin cells using a unique AHA-BHA (Alpha-Beta Hydroxy) formula.  Skin is deeply-nourished and infused with a power-packed plant-based nutritious punch- leaving skin looking & feeling incredibly healthy, clean, clear & glowing.

Contains 95.5% Organic/Wild-harvested ingredients.  100% Natural.  Cruelty-free.  Vegan.  GMO-free.  Gluten-free.  Biodegradable.

The Superfood Detox Mask may be incorporated in your skincare routine as a deep-cleansing treatment mask 1-2x/week, or used daily as a dry-powder/add-water cleanser.  It may also be used for a spot treatment- anywhere that needs a targeted deep-cleanse + revitalization boost…Ahem- may we suggest the t-zone area!

The Superfood Detox Mask fits into every skincare routine, no matter how simple n’ basic or complicated n’ involved your routine may be- this puppy serves a key purpose.  Detoxify, deep-cleanse, and draw out impurities, make-up, bacteria, dirt, pollution, grime, excess sebum, and acne-causing impurities.  At the same time, deeply nourish and feed skin with nutritious Superfoods bursting with essential vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrient actives which leave skin looking & feeling incredible healthy, nourished & happy.

HOW TO USE

The Superfood Detox Mask is a dry-powder/water-activated formula.  Using the spatula, remove approximately 1 tsp of the Superfood Mask Powder, and place into a small dish or the palm of your hand.  Add 1 ½ to 2 tsp water and mix to create a smooth creamy paste.  Apply to freshly cleansed damp skin, by massaging in a circular motion for a few minutes- it helps to lift impurities from deep within the pores and boosts circulation.  Leave Superfood Detox Mask on for approximately 3-5 minutes, no longer.  You will know the Mask is ready to remove once the edges begin to dry.  Remove by rinsing thoroughly with warm water.  Follow with a hydrating product like Huna Revitalize Face Lotion, and seal in moisture while protecting skin with an Antioxidant Complex using Huna Revitalize Age-Grace Face Serum.  You skin will glow for days!

Be Mindful: Clay Masks should never be allowed to dry out completely on the skin.  Clays work by drawing impurities while the clay is wet on the skin, however clay masks will start to draw moisture from the skin along with impurities, if you allow the clay to dry out on the skin.  If you’d like to keep the Clay Mask on longer for a deeper cleanse- you will need to wet your fingertips and run them over the mask to rehydrate the clay as needed.  Remove by rinsing thoroughly with warm water.

FAQ

Is Vitamin C the best for anti aging?

We are definitely pro aging, and we like to help our clients on the road to vitality through practices that ensure out skin has its best chances of staying healthy and dense into our high double digit years. Vitamin C is an incredible tool for defending our skin from free radicals, collagen support, and evening out pigmentation concerns. VItamin C options are DEFINITELY NOT one size fits all. We would love to ask you a few questions to determine which best fits your concerns and lifestyle needs.

My skin is really dry, should I use hyaluronic acid?

“Dry” is a bit of a tricky word. We like to get more specific about symptoms to help our clients determine what support the skin needs.  Hyaluronic acid is great for attracting water to the more surface layers of the skin. This can feel AND look really great. However, if your skin is deeply dehydrated, it can pull water from the dermis making the symptoms of dehydration worsen. We ALWAYS recommend having a consultation to help you determine the right practices and products for your concerns.

What’s the best product for acne?

Acne is one of the most profitable categories in the beauty industry. It’s no wonder since it affects us emotionally and impacts our confidence. Acne has become a blanket word that covers everything from monthly cycle breakouts to cystic and even folliculitis. Choosing the right product is only a small percentage of getting on track to healthier skin. We want to support you with healthy practices that remove products that “attack” your acne and guide you into healing your skin. A conversation with us can eliminate trial and error shopping and navigate you into the right products to support your specific skin concerns.

How often should you refresh your mascara?

We recommend every 3 – 6 months. Keeping eyes healthy includes making sure your eye makeup isn’t full of bacteria. Please replace mascara IMMEDIATELY if you get any eye infections including pink eye or styes.
